Donatelli Castillo Builders
Changes Only In Name
Chris Donatelli is now the sole owner and president of our
company, renamed Chris Donatelli Builders, Inc.
Chris bought out Tony's share in the business after he decided
to
move on
and establish his own company. We appreciated his experience
and drive that helped get us to where we are today, and wish
him all the best in his new endeavors. Although we now
have the name
"Chris Donatelli Builders," the business will continue to employ
the same experienced office and field staff, and provide
the great craftsmanship and service that our company has been
known
for these past 15 years.

Donatelli Castillo Builders Lends Its Support to
New EcoCenter
Donatelli Castillo Builders
recently lent its support to the new EcoCenter in Palo
Alto with its donation of a very unique auction item -
a specially crafted birdhouse that is a replica of the old
Sea Scout
boathouse.
The birdhouse
will permanently
reside
on the second floor railing of the new EcoCenter,
and is expected to host song sparrows, savannah sparrows
and marsh wrens. When completed next year, the
new environmental education center will serve 60
schools and 10,000 students in Santa Clara and San Mateo
counties.

Chris Interviewed for Professional Remodeler
Chris Donatelli was quoted in the September 2007 edition of
Professional Remodeler, for their 2007 Green Remodeling Survey.
The statistics show that awareness of green building has grown
significantly over the last five years. Chris, and the rest
of us at Donatelli Castillo Builders, can all be happy about
that.

Chris Interviewed in Professional Remodeler
In the October 2006 edition of Professional Remodeler, Chris
Donatelli was interviewed as part of a roundtable discussion
on green building, dealing with many of the issues that green
builders are facing and the future of green building. Speaking
of the future of green building, Chris is quoted saying: “Honestly,
I don't think it's peaked. In the future, we're going to
see that more and more will be into our process. That's what
I
hope to see. It won't take arm twisting or an education process
to take care of the house correctly; that's just going to
be the way it's done.”

Chris Donatelli was quoted in the September 2006 edition
of Business Week for an article about homeowners making
the decision
to use green building, even when it won’t save them money.
He is quoted as saying that many clients choose Green Building
because “it’s the right thing to do.”
