Options
While
some remodelers will only work with provided plans from a
client’s architect, and others
will only work on a Design/Build basis, Chris Donatelli Builders
knows that different homeowners and
different projects have different needs. Thus, we are proud
to offer you our DCB Design Select approach, which gives
you three development options for your remodeling project.
Design/Bid Option
The oldest way of completing
remodeling projects is the Design/Bid approach, where the homeowner
first selects an architect
to complete the design process and then asks builders to
bid on constructing those plans. While Chris Donatelli
Builders is happy to work with pre-set plans from
architects,
we encourage you to explore our other options for remodeling,
as we feel they have significant benefits for most homeowners.
Design/Build Option
In Chris Donatelli Builder's Design/Build approach
to remodeling, we take care of everything, from concept to
completion.
You
won’t
have to contract with a separate architect and you will have
the peace of mind of a single point of responsibility for

Hybrid Team Option
The Hybrid Team approach incorporates some of
the benefits of Design/Build remodeling while allowing you
the freedom
to select an architect of your choosing. Here, as in the
Design/Build approach, Chris Donatelli
Builders works with the architect
during the design phase of your
project
to ensure that the designs that are produced are buildable
within your budget, and sometimes offer
structural and technical suggestions to help you get more
from your project.
